Job summary

The Salvation Army in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time maintenance worker to perform routine repairs and basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks for buildings and grounds. You will respond to maintenance requests, monitor systems, and help ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2–3 years of commercial maintenance experience, or an equivalent mix of training. A valid Texas driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years experience performing maintenance and repair work for commercial buildings and grounds.
• Or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid State Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine building maintenance; minor plumbing repairs, carpentry and electrical work.
• Maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision.
• Monitors lighting and replaces bulbs; supervises contract services as needed.
• Inspects and records maintenance in accordance with schedules.
