Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a maintenance associate to perform routine building maintenance, minor plumbing and carpentry, electrical work, and preventative vehicle maintenance. You will keep the grounds tidy, assemble office furniture, and drive vehicles in various weather conditions, ensuring safety and timely service.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of driving experience; ability to read/communicate in English and lift up to 50 lbs daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience operating an automotive vehicle.
• Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance practices and safe operation of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and minor plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Perform electrical work and preventative maintenance on Salvation Army vehicles.
• Maintain grounds and clean facilities; assemble and move office furniture.
• Drive vehicles safely and adhere to driving insurance requirements.
• Weather and outdoor-related physical work with exposure to elements.
