Trinity Property Consultants in Naperville, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to uphold property upkeep, perform routine repairs, and build essential trade skills for advancement within multifamily maintenance.

The role requires 1+ year experience, basic tools, and familiarity with work-order systems. Hours are Mon–Fri 9AM–6PM with on-call duties; compensation is $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).
• Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools.
• Understanding chemical safety procedures.
• Basic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.

Responsibilities

• Property Care & Basic Maintenance: Maintain property grounds and common areas; Complete routine service requests and make-ready tasks; Perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs; Replace basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets.
• Operational Support: Assist with inspections and preventative maintenance; Support seasonal preparation and storm response; Maintain clean work and storage areas; Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
• Safety, Tools & Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols; Maintain a basic personal tool kit; Complete required training and compliance courses.
• Additional Duties: This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
