Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Bay Indies Maintenance - Level I at our Venice, Florida property. The role involves performing maintenance tasks across multiple trades including light repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and painting to ensure clean, safe, and appealing amenities for residents and guests.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance duties including light appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping.
• Keep amenity spaces well maintained and in good working order.
• Move heavy objects and operate maintenance trucks as needed across the property.
• Report maintenance concerns to management and perform timely repairs.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily tasks and vendor appointments.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and coordinate with management for restocking.
