Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring a Maintenance Technician I / General Maintenance in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will perform preventive maintenance on facility machine centers and assist with complex repairs, while supporting production schedules and PQVC initiatives.

The role includes operating forklifts, cranes, and other equipment, with shift timing on 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, with a Starting wage of $25.73/hr base, $1.25/hr shift differential, totaling

Qualifications

Six months minimum machine maintenance or related experience or a recent technical degree.
Able to read machine blueprints and drawings.
Six months experience with Caterpillar Paving.
Experience in heavy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility machines and building equipment.
Assist other maintenance colleagues on projects and complex machines.
Coordinate and prioritize work to meet production schedules using the maintenance system.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and hoists as needed.
May perform snow removal, yard and basic electrical tasks as required.
