Cintas Corporation is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift in Madison, Alabama. You will assist with repairing and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, and conveyors, while supporting preventive maintenance and safety practices.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, blueprints literacy, and a high school diploma. Excellent teamwork, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial setting or military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature in English.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Assist with indoor/outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
