Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift in Houston, TX. You will assist with repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment in a busy laundry facility, focusing on reliability and safe operation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial repair, read English maintenance literature, and can read blueprints. The role requires standing up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment and systems at the laundry facility.
• Troubleshoot washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers; install and repair as needed.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
