Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.

• Must meet physical requirements and demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting and safety repairs, as directed.
• Work independently, and as part of a team, to contribute to the maintenance department and facility, and perform other duties as instructed.
• Utilize maintenance schedules to perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Perform welding, grinding, fabrication, and flame cutting as required for general facility repairs.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks and operate equipment to maintain a clean facility.
• Remove snow and ice when weather conditions warrant.
• Operate in accordance with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians and develop technical skills for more responsibilities.
• Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned

NVR’s Manufa cturing Plant in Thurmont, MD is looking to add a team member to our maintenance team. While you will be the “go to” person for installing/fixing electrical issues you will also be expected to perform non-electrical maintenance work. Day shift hours are 5:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay rate starts at $26.75 per hour. Indi vidual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and location.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting and safety repairs, as directed.

• May assist other Maintenance Technicians in their day-to-day operations and assignments, in preparation to assume more responsibilities and further develop technical skillsets.

• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, more details available upon interview
• Will be required to demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge
