Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep our hotel running safely and smoothly. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems while maintaining records and training junior team members.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, capable of handling all aspects of hotel maintenance.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs (ergonomic, emergency-response, injury-prevention).
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration, and mechanical operations.
• Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical repair and plumbing.
• Ability to speak, write, and receive direction in English.
• Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs.

• Repair a variety of systems such as plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety and compliance programs.
• Keep detailed records and reports.

• Ensure an exceptional guest experience with courteous, friendly service.

What you will do:

Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.

Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.

• Complete repairs on a variety of systems such as plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment in compliance with all appropriate regulations: ergonomic, emergency response, and injury prevention.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
