• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Training or certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work on production equipment that includes extruders and braiders.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
• Follow recommended maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
• Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
• Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician I who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting.

We have positions open on 3 shifts, with the following schedules:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am
• 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 9:00am

Primary Purpose

The Maintenance Technician I will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Work on production equipment that includes extruders and braiders.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
• Follow recommended maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
• Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
• Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read / interpret technical documents.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic welding skills are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Education and Experience

• 1-3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Any training or certifications are a plus.
