OPPORTUNITY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I - PHOENIX, AZ

DAYS/HOURS REQUIRED: SUNDAY - THURSDAY, 8AM - 5PM

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for our beautiful 1222-unit community, Vaseo! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry.

Duties include but aren't limited to:

1. Working in turnover and renovation units, as well as responding to maintenance service requests.
2. Performing external and internal repairs, including drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing, appliances, boilers, HVAC systems, and common area upkeep.
3. Participating in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled or required.
4. Setting up and operating machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine for repairs or fabrication.
5. Fabricating and repairing cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
6. Maintaining inventory and related paperwork.
7. Keeping storage facilities and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.).
2. Knowledge of and skill in performing quality work, using required tools and machinery, and professional interaction with co-workers, residents, and vendors.
3. Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
4. High school diploma or GED, technical training, or 3-6 months related experience; or equivalent.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. EPA 608 certification required.
7. Ability to work weekends.

Salary: $20.00/hour. Benefits include 401(K) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and discounts, with full-time eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
