Job summary

HHM Health in Dallas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our clinic facilities operating smoothly and to repair issues before they escalate. You will handle a wide range of repair tasks across the campus and nearby sites.

The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and CMMS, with 1–2 years of related experience. You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and travel between Dallas and Fort Worth areas.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, groundskeeping and facility systems, along with experience using diagnostic equipment and CMMS.
  • 1–2 years of related experience or completion of a related apprenticeship program.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to lift up to 100lbs, work in tight spaces, walk and stand for long periods, bend/stoop, reach overhead, climb stairs/ladders.
  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strategic, adaptable, and collaborative problem-solver who fosters a positive team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel across different locations in and around Dallas and Fort Worth area.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese or Rohingya would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance to regularly inspect equipment and facilities to avoid breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting, and fixing equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Performing general repairs including replacing worn parts, fixing structural damage (window, door or wall repair), fixing broken or leaking plumbing, replacing fixtures.
  • General electrical and HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped.
  • Basic installation of new equipment, systems, furniture.
  • Ensure facilities and grounds are maintained by performing general janitorial and groundskeeping duties.
  • Work with external contractors for more significant repairs and new facility build outs.
  • Maintaining a safe environment by following protocols and recording maintenance activities. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

What You Need To Succeed
