Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall patching. The technician will drive a company van to multiple sites to complete tasks and ensure building structures are properly maintained.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of related experience, a valid California driver’s license, and knowledge of safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Awareness of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical work, painting and drywall patching.
• Operate company van to various sites for maintenance tasks and inspect/building structures as needed.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician I performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, and patching drywall. The Technician drives a company van to various sites to perform maintenance tasks and is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of building structures as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in the use of appropriate maintenance equipment.
• Occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Must be eligible to safely operate company vehicles, with no major moving violations within the past (3) years and no more than one (1) point on current DMV record.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
