Job summary

PRG Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the Hyde Park community in Chester, VA. This entry-level role supports repairs, unit turns, and daily upkeep to keep our apartment community safe, clean, and move-in ready.

You will assist with repairs in apartments and common areas, help with make-readies, painting, plumbing, and other tasks, while following safety procedures and growing your maintenance skills through paid training and certifications.

Qualifications

• At least one year of general maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of tools, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Willingness to learn and obtain certifications (CPO/HVAC).
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Responsibilities
