Blue Lake Casino is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical and plumbing systems. You will support HVAC maintenance, light electrical work, and general building upkeep to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and Team Members.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid California driver license, with the ability to read safety instructions and operate with a hands-on approach.

SUMMARY
Assists in repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment. Performs aesthetic preventative maintenance (APM) by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
