Job summary

NOAH Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a 250+ unit apartment community in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and general building systems while assisting with HVAC tasks and ensuring units are rent-ready.

The role emphasizes reliability, customer service to residents, and adherence to safety policies. On-site work with potential on-call rotations, backed by a Supervisory team and opportunities for advancement within NOAH’s Charlotte

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience in building operations and repairs.
Basic HVAC knowledge; EPA Section 608 certification not required.
Experience working on older apartment communities is a plus.
Ability to read and follow policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Knowledge of SDS, PPE handling, and chemical safety.
Familiarity with emergency shutoffs and building systems.
Strong communication with residents and team members; customer service focus.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and repairs electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
Assists with HVAC diagnosis and repair under supervision.
Completes service requests on time and to company standards.
Turns and prepares vacant units to be rent-ready.
Performs preventive maintenance on homes, systems and common areas.
Performs interior/exterior painting as needed.
Maintains safety by following policies and reporting hazards.
