Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Technician at Canterbury Green Apartments in Indianapolis. In this full-time role you''ll troubleshoot and repair HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance while keeping common areas and units in top condition.

The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

One year of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HVAC troubleshooting knowledge and appliance repair experience.
Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and complete service requests, including HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance and help preserve the value, safety, and appearance of the community.
Complete apartment make-readies efficiently while delivering quality workmanship that residents can count on.
Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Build positive relationships with residents through responsive service, professionalism, and clear communication.
Participate in an active on-call rotation and assist during emergency maintenance situations as needed.
