Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Technician to maintain a 359-unit community and ensure compliance with standards. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, base pay $19.50–$22.50/hr, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, and preventative maintenance, with on-call rotation and a Monday–Friday schedule. Driver’s license required and EPA/HVAC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry and general maintenance repairs experience.
• Willingness to obtain HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications; company supports earning them.
• One year of related experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and day-to-day property upkeep.
• Complete make-readies and maintain curb appeal and community appearance.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to service requests and resident concerns.
• Keep residents and staff informed on repairs and updates.
