Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Melbourne, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician I to join our resort-style communities. You will perform a variety of maintenance duties, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and irrigation, and assist with general repairs.

You must have a valid driver’s license and 2–3+ years of hands-on experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k) employer match, and paid vacations/holidays/sick time.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• 2–3+ years of direct technical work experience in irrigation, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds, ensuring they are clean and functional.
• Repair irrigation systems and assist with plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks.
• Move heavy objects, operate maintenance vehicles, and report concerns to management.
• Attend morning staff meetings and coordinate with vendors on daily work.
