Job summary

Makino is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain building, grounds, equipment and plant facilities at our Mason, Ohio site. You will plan, install and repair complex electrical/mechanical systems to keep equipment running efficiently.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480 volts, participate in safety programs, and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in maintenance preferred; experience may offset.
• Minimum of 5 years' facilities maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and/or replace plant machinery and equipment such as HVAC equipment, machine tools, lighting, plumbing, pumps and other equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair all facility equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot electric circuits up to 480 volts 3 phase.
• Actively participate in facility safety, health and environmental programs.
• Prepare and complete work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
• Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder hand tools and other metal working equipment.
