Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Wooster, Ohio, to support our manufacturing operations on the production floor and in maintenance areas.

You will maintain and repair equipment used to transform sheet metal into HVAC components, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to urgent repairs to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance with pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, forklift

Qualifications

• Must follow safety regulations and keep a clean work environment.
• Must document maintenance work and repairs clearly.
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement fixes on machinery.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
• HVAC system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for further action.
