Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in Wooster, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team on the production floor and maintenance areas. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment used in transforming sheet metal into HVAC components.

The successful candidate will fulfill maintenance work orders, perform preventative and emergency repairs, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.
• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance advantageous.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance with pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.
• HVAC systems knowledge is a plus.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for action.
