Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Divisional Headquarters in Roseville, MN. The role covers basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

Wage ranges from $20.14 to $26.91 per hour for a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday. A high school diploma or GED, plus 1+ years of maintenance experience, is required, with boiler license and forklift certification preferred or obtainable within

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
One or more years of maintenance experience (e.g., carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Must possess a Special Boiler license or obtain within 120 days of employment. DHQ will support obtaining license.
Must possess or obtain forklift certification; DHQ will provide certification as needed.
Pass background checks.
Must have a valid driver’s license, and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate within 90 days; meet MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform and schedule routine maintenance (HVAC, electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, power equipment).
Complete assigned work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance promptly.
Monitor, inspect, test, and maintain boiler logs.
