Job summary

The Salvation Army DHQ Maintenance Technician in Roseville, MN is responsible for basic preventive and corrective maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a wage of $20.14–$26.91 per hour.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year maintenance experience, and licensure/certifications such as a Special Boiler license and forklift certification; background checks and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year maintenance experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Special Boiler license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Background checks required.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Complete assigned preventative/corrective work orders promptly.
• Monitor boiler logs and maintenance records.
• Assist with events and projects and with winter grounds upkeep.
• Respond to after-hours emergency building calls as needed.
