Job summary

Envolve CommunityManagement Company in Rockford, IL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across our apartment communities. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and assist the Maintenance Supervisor to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates have HVAC certification with 3+ years of maintenance experience, can handle heavy lifting, respond to emergencies, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification with 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
• Normal work hours 8am–5pm, Mon-Fri (seasonal variations; overtime possible).
• Background screening and drug test required.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, sinks, and basic carpentry.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and documentation for operations of maintenance equipment.
