Job summary

Springbrook NY Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment across the organization’s facilities.

Tasks include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and masonry, with on-call availability as needed. Applicants should have five years of maintenance or construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Five (5) years of maintenance and/or construction experience with progressive responsibility.
• Significant knowledge of painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical trades.
• Ability to schedule, plan and inspect work assignments and projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs to buildings/equipment.
• Performs installation, repair and maintenance of Plumbing; Heating & Air Conditioning; Electrical; Carpentry; Masonry.
• Documents details of project completion.
• Provides care and maintenance and accounts for tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintains safety practices and generates labor, time, cost, and material estimates.
• Maintains inventory and tracks materials; may supervise others.
