Job summary

Singh Management Co., Llc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance services across grounds, exteriors, and community facilities. You will repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, prep units for new residents, and support janitorial duties while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong time management, problem-solving, and clear communication with residents and staff. You may join on-call rotations and assist multiple Singh communities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar and know how to work with HVAC and electrical systems safely.
• Experience and/or formal training in an applicable trade.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Solution oriented, with a willingness to get the job done.
• Time management and organization.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass our internal Maintenance Technician exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with various tasks, such as preparation of units, upkeep of models, installing and removing appliances, and general troubleshooting and repairs of minor mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electric and plumbing systems.
• Prevent and remove hazards to staff, residents and guests such as tripping hazards.
• Walk through and prepare units for new residents.
• Take the lead, as assigned, on minor work orders including general repair tasks, paint touch ups, lock outs, and other tasks as determined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• May assist with snow removal as a back up to snow removal contractors; keep walkways around models and clubhouse clear of ice and snow.
• Work with IT in assisting with any technical issues.
• Meticulous upkeep of the clubhouse, all applicable amenities, grounds and landscaping.
• Ensure the entire community is clean at all times, providing janitorial support when necessary, including deep cleaning when needed for our residents.
• Respond to maintenance requests of residents.
• Be a part of the on-call rotation within the department.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by Property Manager.
• Assistance with above duties, as needed, at other Singh communities.
