Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to service requests, perform painting and grounds upkeep, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances in residential units. You will prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status, maintain common areas, and ensure top-notch resident service in Henderson, TX.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with apartment turns and make-readies is valued.
• Basic plumbing and electrical repair skills required

Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
• Paint and pick up grounds
• Painting
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
• Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs)
• Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs)
• Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves)
• Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry
