Job summary

The Harrison Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Hampton Inn Corolla in North Carolina. The role involves maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, performing repairs, and upholding safety standards across the hotel operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (HVAC certification a plus) and proven maintenance experience. The position offers benefits and requires flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certificate is a plus.
• CMRP certification is desirable.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Good physical condition with willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Repair electrical systems and circuit panels as needed.
• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Carry out general upkeep (landscaping) and carpentry tasks.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Other duties as assigned.
