Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Longboat Key, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will perform routine inspections and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other hotel systems to keep the property safe and welcoming.

You will respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff, document activities, and collaborate with departments on projects. A high school diploma and hospitality maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel and resort facilities, providing guests with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various hotel and resort equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support special projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property, including grounds and common areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team oriented
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
