Job summary

Grand Continent Hotels Group in Springfield, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of premises. You will perform a wide range of tasks such as painting, landscaping, and more, working autonomously while following health and safety guidelines.

You should have a clean driver's license, demonstrate hands-on maintenance skills, and be willing to work overtime to meet service goals in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance technician experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and critical thinking skills.
• Good physical condition and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of electrical systems
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect and schedule repairs for alarm systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Undertake activities of pest control
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other assigned tasks
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
