Thomas Safran & Associates, Inc. is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for Hollywood Fountain North, a 89-unit Section 8 age-restricted property in Hollywood, CA.

The role offers a regular full-time Monday–Friday schedule with flexible start times and generous benefits. Benefits include 100% company-paid medical & dental (HMO; PPO available at 90% company paid), life insurance, 401(k) with 50% company match, paid vacation and sick days, and TSA-provided tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in facilities maintenance, hotel or apartment community experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and turn units for move-ins (make ready).
• Complete typical apartment work orders.
• General preventative maintenance and unit inspections.
• Exterior property maintenance, sidewalk grinding and landscaping vendor supervision.
• Minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
• Replacement and repair of household appliances and items (e.g., refrigerator, stoves, sinks, drains, toilets).
• Opportunity to do basic welding, minor HVAC repair and special projects.
• Light cleaning and pickup of grounds in accordance with safety and sanitizing protocols.

Experience and Skills:

Location
