Job summary

Condominium Associates in Largo, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections in the community. You will help keep common areas, buildings, and amenities safe, clean, and welcoming while delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, preventative maintenance on lighting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment, documenting issues, and coordinating with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year general maintenance experience preferred in HOA/condo/apartment environments.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to common areas, buildings, amenities, and community equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, hazards, or code issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely, efficient, professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities including lighting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, walkways, parking areas, and recreational facilities.
• Assist with pool area inspections and report safety concerns.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls when required.
• Document completed work and report findings to management.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
