Job summary

Bellevue Post Acute seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, clean, and functional for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform routine maintenance on interior/exterior surfaces, fixtures, and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

The role requires the ability to read and follow directions, work independently, and respond promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No professional license required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior fixtures, walls, lighting, and furniture in good repair.
• Service plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and AC systems per procedures.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs with licensed providers as needed.
• Review maintenance logs and document repairs promptly.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Maintain exterior surfaces, storage of paints and flammable materials, and workshop area.
