Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Reading and following building codes, blueprints, ordinances, and related laws.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physical tasks and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Maintain building and all equipment, painting, plastering, refinishing, carpentry as needed.
• Handle electrical tasks only if trained and not requiring a licensed electrician.
• Keep supplies and maintenance logs; document daily duties and emergencies.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize resident care disruption; supervise any contractors.
