R&R Facilities in Gravette, AR is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to care for our buildings. You should be hard-working, skilled with tools, and adept at solving problems to keep properties well-maintained.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, working with power tools and heavy equipment, and a valid drivers license. Expect a physically active position with some weekend/holiday shifts. Wage: $17.00–$21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman or maintenance work.
• Experience using power tools and construction equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Adherence to OSHA/EPA safety rules.
• Willingness to work weekends or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain construction sites, including clearing debris and hazards, loading/unloading materials.
• Perform general construction tasks: digging trenches, compacting earth, building/dismantling structures.
• Assist skilled craft workers as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation systems and equipment.
• Perform monthly maintenance and safety checks to keep OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain maintenance records per City, State, and EPA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and maintain construction sites, including clearing debris and hazards, as well as loading and unloading materials
• Perform general construction tasks, such as digging trenches, compacting earth, and building or dismantling structures like scaffolding and barricades
• Assist skilled craft workers like contractors, electricians, and painters as needed
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation systems and equipment for R&R facilities/campuses
• Perform monthly maintenance and safety checks in buildings, machinery, and equipment to keep facilities in OSHA compliance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines
• Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
• Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of handyman or maintenance work is preferred
• You know how to use power tools and construction/heavy equipment safely
• You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
• You must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• You must follow safety rules (OSHA/EPA) to keep yourself and others safe
• You should be able to work some weekends or holidays if we need extra help
