Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment at our Utah facility. The role supports Dry Mix production operations and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.

Responsibilities include installing equipment, welding, testing, and troubleshooting, with adherence to safety and quality standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read manuals; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions/manuals.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Lift tools and parts up to 80 lbs with assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and machinery.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts.
• Weld and cut using torch as required.
• Perform general repairs to plant structures.
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery and discuss repairs with Head Mechanic.
