Job summary

Alamo Industrial is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment at our Seguin facility. Responsibilities include servicing forklifts, hoists, cranes, welders, and related machinery to minimize downtime.

The role involves light welding, hydraulic pump work, and maintenance coordination with the production team. A HS diploma and mechanical aptitude are required; technical training and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of machine/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license for travel to parts pickup.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, fix and maintain plant equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, hoists, cranes, welding machines, and related shop equipment.
• Light welding and hydraulic pump repair; replace parts like bearings, belts and seals.
