Job summary

PODS Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep containers and facilities in top condition. You will perform repairs using hand and power tools, operate forklifts, and help maintain a safe warehouse environment in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 0-1 years of construction experience, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Forklift certification and a clean driving record are preferred, with on-the-job training provided for certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 years of experience in construction, building trades, assembly work, or related hands-on field.
• Proven experience using hand and power tools independently.
• Ability to read and understand English in compliance with OSHA safety requirements.
• Basic math skills for measurements/calculations.
• Ability to become forklift certified and safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A safety-first mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Solid work ethic—regular attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of repair tasks using hand and power tools with minimal to no supervision.
• Complete general carpentry repairs, painting, caulking, cutting, and cosmetic container repairs.
• Operate forklifts safely (certification to be provided if not already).
• Operate standard shop equipment and perform all required cutting operations safely.
• Pressure washing and cleaning containers.
• Safely rigging and lifting materials as part of repair work.
• Moving materials using hand carts and assisting with staging and organization.
• Follow repair instructions and technical guidance while exercising sound judgment in execution.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, inside and out.
