Hampton Inn & Suites in Mansfield, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you enjoy performing janitorial duties, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance, this is the role for you!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Complete routine maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-the-house areas, and grounds
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance, mattress turning, and pest control
• Repair doors, furniture, hardware, windows, hang artwork and headboards
• Use ladders, move heavy furniture, and handle hand tools
• Maintain pool chemicals and cleanliness
• Perform cleaning and painting tasks throughout the hotel
• Keep grounds tidy and well-maintained
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests
• Report work and issues to supervisors
• Perform other janitorial and maintenance duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical work, and painting
• Mechanical aptitude for hotel equipment repair
• Skill in using hand and electric tools
• Report daily work to supervisor
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds
• Wear proper uniform per Standards of Appearance
• Flexible schedule, including availability on holidays and weekends
