Job summary

AZZ Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Winsted, MN facility on first shift. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will perform maintenance across plumbing, electrical, welding, construction, and machine servicing.

Duties include repairing equipment with hand and power tools, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, welding or torch work, and supporting production during slowdowns as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing or metal coating operations preferred.
• Experience with HV 480V electrical systems, cranes, hoists, or forklifts preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, and reassembles defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
• Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Will work in a production role as necessary during maintenance slowdowns.
