Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Seattle to perform apartment and property upkeep, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure high customer service and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance; maintain work orders; assist with emergencies; and uphold safety and confidentiality standards. Must have a valid driver’s license and at least one year in property maintenance.

Qualifications

• > High school diploma or equivalent required.
• > At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• > General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• > Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as per state guidelines.
• > Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair and tile work.
• > Conduct proactive maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.
• > Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• > Inspect grounds and amenities to uphold safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• > Assist with property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) as needed.
• > Communicate with maintenance leadership on issues; escalate as required.
• > Enforce safety and risk management per rules and regs.
• > Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance; meet response times.
• > Promote customer satisfaction with cleanliness and curb appeal.
• > Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
• > Maintain professional demeanor and appearance; comply with uniform policy.
• > Adhere to all components of the risk management program.
