Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain converting and corrugating equipment, minimize downtime, and ensure quality production. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred Class B qualifications with tool-ownership.

Prior corrugated industry experience is a plus, with emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures. Candidates should read factory masters, measure accurately, and apply basic math.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy; perform basic calculations such as percentages, measurements, volume.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits at all times.
• Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, and make settings/adjustments for optimum equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and both A/C and D/C drives and their control systems.
• Use maintenance software to plan, schedule, and document work.
• Follow up on work to ensure repairs are properly completed.
• Maximize equipment utilization by keeping machinery running at available capacity and speed.
• Complete paperwork neatly and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Willing to work all necessary hours and shifts.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with policies and safety procedures.
