Job summary

Haley Real Estate Group in South Bend, IN is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep building systems running smoothly and support residents with timely service requests.

The role requires diagnosing and performing maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance areas, completing unit make-readies, and coordinating with a maintenance team to uphold safety and quality standards at the property.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA license Type II or Universal preferred.
• OSHA 10 hour preferred.
• Certified pool operator license (CPO), required at properties with a pool, in compliance with state and municipal requirements. If not certified, the ability to become certified within the timeframe designated by the community manager.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and performs maintenance across electrical, plumbing, AC, heating, appliances, and related systems.
• Handles resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Performs unit make-readies and restores to market-ready status promptly.
• Assists in maintaining grounds and exterior building issues, including trash removal and lighting maintenance.
