Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. in Reading, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine interior and exterior maintenance, respond to resident repair requests, and ensure safety and quality across the community. The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and a high school diploma.

EPA/CPO certifications may be required depending on location. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinate with vendors, attend training, and uphold Bell

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authorization before entering apartments.
• Attend in-service trainings and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Adhere to safety/OSHA requirements and maintain attendance and punctuality.
