Josiah White's is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper to perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on facilities and grounds. The role requires skills across mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and grounds tasks, plus driving and tool operation responsibilities.

Position summary: The Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper performs a combination of routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on facility structures and equipment, as well as seasonal grounds maintenance. This role requires a broad skill set including mechanical, electrical, carpentry and drywall repair, plumbing, painting, and hydraulic systems, and experience using zero radius and push mowers, weed edgers, and chainsaws.
This position requires, on average, 40 hours per week. Normal work hours are Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be required. Must be able to work every eighth weekend and be on-call as needed during the week as part of an on-call duty rotation.
The employee in this role will work in various indoor and outdoor settings, at varying heights, and with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions. There will be frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grass, pollen, noise, vibrations, cleaning products, paints, fuels, lubricants, fumes, and other maintenance-related materials. This position requires significant physical stamina. The employee must be able to stand and walk for significant periods of time, reach overhead and outward, squat and bend, climb ladders and stairs, and lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
