Hometown America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Angola Beach and Estates in Lewes, DE. Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and the role is full-time, non-exempt, on-site at the community.

You will handle routine, emergency and preventative maintenance to keep common areas and leased homes in top condition. Responsibilities include curb appeal, grounds maintenance, safety compliance, and clear communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience with snow plowing, landscaping, basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry is preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including Saturdays for emergencies.
• Background checks including criminal and driving records as part of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community appearance to meet curb appeal standards.
• Perform grounds work and seasonal maintenance in common areas.
• Communicate with supervisor and collaborate with team to meet expectations.
• Follow safety procedures while operating equipment and vehicles.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents, vendors, and colleagues.
