Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians in Troutdale, Oregon. The role focuses on routine and preventative maintenance, grounds and facilities upkeep, and delivering strong resident service.

You will perform repairs, equipment checks, and ensure curb appeal across Sun's communities. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months in maintenance, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and operate hand tools and machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred.
• 6 months broad maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Must lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains trash/debris in common areas and streets daily.
• Performs minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Inspects irrigation systems and repairs as needed.
• Maintains vacant sites and removes trash and debris.
• Cleans and maintains community facilities and grounds.
• Operates tools and equipment safely and reports issues.
• Inspects playgrounds, pools, and recreational areas for safety.
• Maintains community vehicles and equipment as required.
• Follows safety procedures and can be on-call as needed.
