Clemson University in Columbia, SC is seeking a Regular FTE staff member to assist the Building/Grounds manager with maintenance and repair tasks across campus facilities. The role includes operating heavy equipment, grounds upkeep and supporting agriculture and natural resources operations at Sandhill REC.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and related trade experience. The position requires flexibility to perform diverse duties and may involve on-call or emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal training or trade experience related to the area of employment.
• Experience operating heavy and light equipment a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain grounds equipment and perform grounds maintenance tasks.
• Assist with complex maintenance and repair across carpentry, masonry, electrical, HVAC, roofing and plumbing.
• Lead and guide other employees performing similar work as assigned.
• Maintain buildings and storage/outbuildings and assist with agriculture/extension functions.
