Warehouse Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Liberty, SC location. Under supervision, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation of mobile equipment.

Description

Under the appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the maintenance technician performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to insure the safe operation of mobile equipment. Implements, coordinates and assists in the application of procedures pertaining to general maintenance. Duties may require manual, clerical and data entry skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routine, preventative and emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
• Prepares and maintains logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.
• Operates all material handling equipment required.
• Repairs equipment as required.
• Perform building and equipment audits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 2 year degree in maintenance technology and/or 2 years relevant experience and/or combination of both
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
